I want that game.

Nintendo called it the Ambassador Program because "Ambassador" is an anagram of "Moar Badass". -StarlightDrive

I really don't know why anybody would be thinking this right now, since a 9/10 is a superb score. Then again, maybe people who wanted to see 9.5/10 or 10/10 or maybe even a score lower than 8 will whine and complain about it anyway.

However, the 3DS version adds the ability to choose which of the available planets you want to go to next, rather than forcing you to go to the planet connected to the path you took. It's a nice touch, and really freeing that you're no longer committed to your original decision.

Couldn't you do that originally? If you found the "secret" exit, you could still go to the "normal" next stage?

Gravity's not getting another cent of my money unless they fix that God-awful Rune Knight sprite.

They're just rating it that high because they don't want the fanchise to be cancelled.

;)

EDIT: To Ghetsis: yes, you could.

I can't tell if TC is saying the score is too low (which it isn't) or if it's too high(which is weird since they haven't played it for themselves yet)

Neither. Just that people will always find a reason to complain and this probably won't be any different. I haven't played the game yet so I can't judge it.

IIRC, if you did not find the "secret" or get a Mission Accomplished on certain stages, you were forced to go a certain route. The IGN statement makes it sound like you can change route regardless...

That would make for some...weird game play. Like that one late game stage where Slippy gets WTFPWNED by a boss if you don't beat it fast enough and you have to go rescue him in the next stage. I wonder if you would still have Slippy if you chose to go a different route >_>

I think the TC is pointing out--in a facetious manner--that no one is probably going to call IGN out on this one, because the more rabid members of this board will by and large be pleased by this score. In other words, the fanboys only make the "can't spell ignorant..." statement when it's over something that upsets them.

That's how I look at it, anyway.
