Is Ambassador Metroid like actual NES metroid...

or like the port of NES metroid on Zero Mission, where it saves your password?

If the Ambassador one doesn't save your password... then what the ****.

As far as I know it doesn't save your password like the GBA port but it doesn't matter since you have restore points now.

My dragon egg is dead. Thanks guys. Also, blue cheese is evil and the creator should be flogged.

It doesn't save your password from what I can tell but when you die you can hit start at the password screen to revive with whatever items you collected so you don't ever need to save your password unless you restart the game. You can just hit home then close it down and when you start it up again you're right back where you were when you hit home.

It does not appear to remember your password upon reset. Best advice is to not reset it, unless you either want to enter a password or start over from the beginning. It automatically suspends the game when you close it, so it shouldn't be a big deal.

It can save state the game. I.E, if you press the 'home button' and go do something else, it will save where you are. If you just lost and press start, it will continue.

Let's say I close my 3DS and it dies. Will I have it saved at when I closed it?

No. Just press 'Home' then 'X' and it'll save.

You don't need it to save your password. Whenever you close the software and load it back up you'll be right where you were when you closed the software like in the games on the Wii VC.
