Why? You want a slide pad for game like MH, you buy one. If not, you don't. I don't see the problem.

This is better than having to buy a whole new 3DS for just the extra circle pad.

Wow. If this turns out to be true,then this will be one of the most dumbest things they've ever done. Why the hell would the 3DS need a second Slide Pad?
