Um, what's so bad about the add-on? Why the rage?

It adds dual-analogue functionality to a system that can benefit greatly from it, without putting out a redesign unnecessarily early to really piss off early adopters. Also, I'm sure I'm not the only one who finds the 3DS to be a bit small for my hands. A bit of extra hand real estate? Sign me up.

Lets see maybe the rage is because it should have been there to begin with... Nintendo is seriously ****ing up with the 3DS first it was over priced and now we find out that the high price tag cut was probably related to this decision... At this rate they will kill it before next holiday season.

It's a bit gawdy, yes. But I sincerely doubt they could create an add-on like this without it looking a bit off. I'd rather have this option than nothing.

Well, I don't particularly care, personally. That said, a second analog stick is completely unnecessary. Anything it might be used for, the touch screen and gyroscope can do already. Also, people pointing out how big and unwieldy it is do have a fair point.

Also, let's keep in mind that Nintendo have confirmed nothing yet.

TC, I believe "NO, NOT LIKE THIS" is a phrase suitable for this whole situation.

It's like when a person dies by being sucked into a Rhino's butt. No. Not like this.
