How I would have designed the attachment (picture inside)

By taking it off when you're not using it? Or alternatively, adding some sort of hinge to the part which lies over the system.


Seems like a huge ass hassle to put it on and take it off everytime you want to play.

I dont think anyones redesign has factored in gamers not wanting the stick to move accidently during play. Clip on and snap on designs are no good. The new slidepad will have to be secured on all sides by hardware...like it is now.

I think people are forgetting that there is more to the slide pad then what you just see on the surface of the system. There are parts underneath that you know.

That being said, I kind of hope that what we've seen of the attachment isn't the final design since it is quite bulky. I'm sure there is some way they could have it attach to the right side without having to have all that junk underneath.
