How does the slide pad peripheral attach to the 3DS?

Would it simply clip on and off, or would you have a less convenient way of attaching it? (screwing it in for example)

Well, there is a screw in the center of it, which I'm guessing attached to the 3DS.

Well if that's the case, and since it completely blocks the cartridge slots, then you have to unscrew the screw to change the cartridge every time?

That's pretty screwed up.

Where would it screw into the 3DS? I'm pretty sure it just clips, and that screw is the battery cover
