I think I have a battery issue or something.

Recently I noticed my 3DS will randomly shut off in sleep mode after only a couple hours (originally fully charged) and when I turn it on the date/time will be reset. Now tonight when I hit the power button the system made a 'click' sound and went black instead of showing the screen about sleep mode with the power off button. When I turn it back on, it's fully charged but the date/time is reset again. This happened twice in a row before it finally turned off normally this last time. Any ideas or news if this has happened to others?

Wierd. If your date and time are resetting also then it may be more than just your battery. Your system's memory or something may be acting up. As for the shutting off, maybe your battery has gotten loose somehow?

It's happened to me twice since I bought the system in June, TC. I think it's just some glitch that keeps the system on while it thinks its asleep, therefore draining the battery completely, instead of shutting the system off before enough juice runs out to reset the clock.

I have noticed that sometimes when I put it in sleep mode the blue light will just be solid (instead of flashing) so I would wonder if it's actually asleep or not. I'm still not sure about the power button issue. And yeah, I use the cradle.
