Beacuse the circle pad is attached to that 'green' (looks like a blue one in bad lighting to me) 3DS, which is playing LM2.

In this image it looks a little more green-ish.

And having dual circle pad functionality would make sense, since Luigi Masion for the GCN used both, the analog stick and the C-stick, one for moving and the other to aim with the vaccum and flashlight.

Ugh. I hope it's not mandatory. And if it isn't I hope the controls aren't borked because of it.

Of course it could be a shop. But isn't more fun to believe it's true?

Anyways, the image come from some Japanese forums and is not offcial, although if the information on the flyer of that Fukoka videogame store is to be belived, the "Green Leaf 3DS will be launched on March 2012" the same goes for Lugi Mansion 2.

Come on, I want it to be true so bad.

To me, the original image you posted looked like it was of a Green 3DS, not a dark Aqua Blue one. Also, the add-on slider pad just looks regular gray to me (although perhaps a bit darker because of jpeg artifacts).

One of us might be color blind. :(

If this is one of the 2%, never mind.

For the 10000th time: It's an OPTIONAL ADD-ON.

Not changing this signature until a new good Bomberman game is released.

So is Motion+ on the Wii, but hey, Skyward Sword REQUIRES it.

Also, the original picture shows a green 3DS with a green base.

EDIT: And by base I mean add-on.
