Four Swords Anniversary Edition or Minish Cap

Which game should I play first? Got them both for free from the eShop. Never played either of them. I know Four Swords was originally a multiplayer game but now there is a single player section as well. Is there any difference as to which one I should play first? Thanks.

If you're looking for the Zelda experience, play Minish Cap.

Four Swords is definitely worth a playthrough (especially if you have friends to play with).

Both are great. Though FSA is pretty much all dungeons. Still, it should last 10+ hours to fully complete it. It will take more than an hour to beat the 3 stages of the later levels and the retro stages are pretty awesome.

In SA2, it's Super Sonic and Hyper Shadow.

Minish Cap for sure. It's a straight-up traditional 2D Zelda game. Four Sword was a multiplayer add-on for the GBA version of ALLTP. Not to say it's bad by any means, it's a great game, but it doesn't hold a candle to Minish Cap. Also, if you play Minish Cap first, Four Swords actually works pretty nicely as a storyline sequel.
