Does charging from the cradle really make a difference?

I wanna get the power gear, but it can't charge from the nintendo charger, and nykos charging base is terrible from what I hear.

Does charging in a cradle really make a big difference? Or are the charge times about the same?

Charging is the exact same, it just provides a cradle instead of pluggin the cord in and out of the back.

The only difference is using the cradle causes your electricity bill to be higher because it's a constant energy drain even without a 3DS in the cradle.

If you pay your own bills, just use the wall adapter when needed.

If you live with your parents, cradle away.

The dock puts no stress on the adapter port.
