I'm buying another 3DS (Most probably the Zelda one), so I want to prepare this time in order to prevent the scratching tragedy.

Like I said, I'd like to know which is the least noticeable Bumper Fix as I care about the looks of my 3DS.

Thank you in advanced.

You could take the bumpers off the bottom of the charging cradle and put them on the top hinge so they'll touch the START/SELECT buttons(but not the actual buttons, just the outer parts of the buttons).

It won't require any additional purchases, but it'll be noticeable.

I got a new 3DS (the Zelda one) after reading about the newer 3DS's not having the bumper issue, as well as slightly better screens/sound- plus there was a deal on the Zelda ones. Turned out to be true (for me).

Screen scratching issue is still confirmed even with the updated bumpers on the Zelda 3DS, best bet is to just buy a top screen protector.

I extended the bumpers with thin stripes of card stock, it's 100% not noticeable.

You could also remove the bumpers, and put some foam tape on the bottom. That's what I did and it works perfectly.

^ Exactly what I meant, except I used card stock.

This is a video of the method r_m_8_8 and Second_Chances were referring to.

This is what I've done, multiple times. Still get the lines.
