Worth it to upgrade to 3DS XL?

Is it really worth it to upgrade from my Aqua Blue to the Blue XL? I tried my cousins XL and I like the larger screen and sturdier system but do not like the lower quality speakers that outputs volume at a lower level.

There is also the fact that I don't have a pouch to carry the system in so that I can put it in my pocket and it may be too large for my pocket. Your thoughts?

Yep! If you play your 3ds a lot, those XL screens are a must. The low sound is the only thing that bugs me about it, but I always have headphones around my neck anyways so that isn't a problem.

It actually fits in my pocket no problem, definitely better than my 3DS with the Nyko power pak, but I also got that blue/gray DS pouch off Club N for whenever I wanna carry it.

I said it once I'll say it again, every 3DS should be a 3DS XL :]

If you don't have any content that you bought in the Eshop, go for it. I've heard if you mess up doing the System Transfer, EVERYTHING is lost.

the 3DS XL really fits in that thing? I have it and if I get the XL, I could use it. At least it will protect it from scratches and dirt, dust, lint, etc.

what? I've done a system transfer from a US ds lite to japanese ds lite and it went smoothly. i don't think transferring from 1 3ds to another will do any harm

XL is an amazing console with huge screens. I would feel like I was seriously missing something if I was stuck on the smaller standard 3DS.

I was so skeptical with upgrading, I was even that way after trying the XL at Best Buy but I got one anyway. After you play it for a little bit then hold an old 3DS the thing feels tiny! The screens are bigger, the 3D is better and it is easier on the eyes. It's not too big to fit in a normal pocket. The sound IMO isn't that big of an issue just switch it to stereo. I love my 3DSXL!

hmm, i remember the ds phat had some powerful loud speakers like the 3ds then when people went to ds lite, the speakers on that were low. i guess that's fine with me. it's just sound.

i'll see if i can get it.

Blue Black is a lot better than Aqua Blue.

Yeah dude I'm telling you, theres one inch of space width & height-wise in the pouch with the XL in it.
