I recently been using action replay for my 3DS XL and it's been working 100% okay! However when I did street pass and checked my 3DS it wanted to install a quick update.
Ever since that update I would get the error "An error has occurred. Press and hold the POWER Button to turn the system off. Please refer to the Operations Manual for details."
Is there a way I could use my Action Replay with my 3DS? I have tried resetting the hardware and updating the firmware but it seems like the 3DS has blocked my Action Replay completely.

I just tried my Action Replay DSi on my 3DS, and it looks like the ARDSi has been added to the flash cart block list of the 3DS' Firmware. --- We shall always remember the departed... White FC: 0862-2660-4156 / 3DS FC: 2492-4470-1418

Nope, if you updated your 3DS, then you've lost it until they release an update for the actual AR. --- 3DS FC - [1203-9218-7780] | XBL - [NettoSaito] | PSN - [NettoSaito] Please PM me with your FC! My Backloggery Game List - http://www.backloggery.com/NettoSaito

I see. Will this issue happen with my DSi as well? My DSi is updated as well.

I almost forgot, Nintendo's priority with firmware updates means you shouldn't have any problems with using the Action Replay DSi, with your Nintendo DSi for a long time at least. --- We shall always remember the departed... White FC: 0862-2660-4156 / 3DS FC: 2492-4470-1418

I'm getting the exact same error on my 3DS XL, and like with you, it only seems to have appeared after the latest firmware update. I've followed all of the troubleshooting steps in the AR manual - deleting/restoring all codes, resetting hardware etc. But nothing has resolved the issue.
Just used Codejunkies support anyway, so I'll post back if I get any reply from them. --- www.facebook.com/ericwoolham www.unscripted360.com

The thing you have to remember is Nintendo is anti-cheat device. This means that they WILL attempt to block them with each update --- You know what worse then MLP fan boys? MLP haters. *Proud to be a Brony*

Gotta wait for an update.
This is why I keep my DS Lite around.

I just got mine in the mail and went to try it and disappointment ensued. I hope they fix it soon because I wouldn't have bought it if I knew this. --- GT: ClamDestroyer
