3ds constantly blinking red lights,and cant cant turn it on. please help

I left my 3ds on sleep mode during night n didnt put it on charge.
Now im awake and wanted to go to eShop but i caught 3DS blinking 2 red lights (notification and the one that was blue as it was turned on)
i putted it on charge,but it cant turn on...

What to do?

Let it charge for about an hour or two before officially freaking out. Check again then and see if it is still messed up, then come back here and see if any decent answers have been posted.

okay i have charged it for 30mins. The right light turned into blue and it was in sleep mode,then it turned off and now its working great.

The 3DS wont let you turn it on unless the battery gets to a certain charge %

No you know the true extent of the battery life.

The batterylife didn't bother me at first but lately as I've been using the system more it's been getting more irritating. I might have to buy something that extends it in the near future.
