I'd consider myself very addicted to the whole main-game pokemon series and I feel that this app costs way too much for what it's worth.

I'm buying it because I want to and dont find $15 to be extremely out of the question for it.

At best this should be a 10 dollar app with locations, Shiny Color Swaps and hell Mini games.

15 for what it is is a bit too much but good to have just in case Serebii isn't available.

Nor are there any benefits in the games or whatsoever to unlock like with the Dream Radar. How senseless is it to support such trivialities/pointless suckering. Oh, wait....

Eh, the "condescending" drones will never get it. They actually believe (it's called delusion/denial) that some kind of reward/benefit (pot of gold maybe?) awaits them at the end of that fabled rainbow they are staring at.

Pokédex 3D Pro is a showcase for the 3D models that they're going to start using in "real" games. It comes down to whether or not you feel it is justified to give what amounts to a $15 tip for what was a lot of work. (Nearly 700 completely distinct 3D models is nothing to sneeze at.)

I am undecided at the moment. Maybe when my new job starts paying, haha.
