Former psp owner... And i've put at least 300+ hours into each of the monster hunter titles. Infact bought a 3ds awaiting the next 2 mh games.

I want a game that I can put loads of time into while I wait.
Is kid icarus the only 3ds game that offers minimum 100hrs of replay value, or are there others?
Or should i just get dq9? Or some other ds game?

Samurai Warriors people have said they got tons of hours out of. I know I did.

And we all know Monster Hunter is coming too.
Pokemon Black/White/B2/W2 you can easily clock that much up too.
Animal Crossing too

Samurai Warriors, Devil Survivor Overclocked, Theatrhythm and Mario Kart can easily provide well over 100 hours of replay value.

I'll agree on Devil Survivor. And Tales of the Abyss is a must own too. I got 60 hours in and that was without sidequesting. With sidequesting you could get a 100 hours easy, and it's got new game+ mode to add for replay value. Tales is kinda rare these days though, so you might not be able to find a copy unless you get it online or something.

Tales of the Abyss
What? You pooped in the refrigerator? And you ate the whole... wheel of cheese? How'd you do that? Heck, I'm not even mad; that's amazing.

You might want to try resident evil revelations,
while the main story will take 7-10 hours depending on your pace,
raid mode (online) will keep you busy for a while.

It really depends if you like this type of games though.

That one ain't leaving Japan for a while. If ever, sadly.

But if you meant Overclocked, then yes it's that good. Multiple endings, voice acting, 8th day...
