Nintendo Video is stupid and overrated.

NV is the poor man's bottom of the barrel, low budget infomercial software.

If anyone who can download a youtube 3d app would most likely uninstall NV.Nintendo doesn't like that.

No. Nintendo naturally refuses to get with the times and simply offer FLASH support to:

> pave a way to an authentic browser
> pave yet another way to view realistic and authentic media; like....wait for it....a YouTube app for one

Eh, then I'd be overestimating their chances and fortitude at that point. One must also remember those sub-par screens just can't handle the brilliance of such wonders. That's what the Vita, for one, is for.

Dude, you don't know much about Flash, huh?

Flash is NOT a free application for developers. Nintendo already had to pay for a license to be allowed to use Flash in the Opera browser for Wii.
Also, what the hell do you want with Flash support on a browser that is not even fast enough t process flash-based sites? They require much higher speed than the 3DS browser can offer.
And a YouTube-App would mean Nintendo has to pay Google first (and they can name the price). Then they'd have to use a pseudo-site which reads YouTube-embeds and has to correctly process that medium with Flash - and then the real pain begins.
- loading times for long videos
- low resolution for ALL videos (read: unbearable)
- conversion of several functions (login system over Google Network, cookie-based identification, comment system)

This is work that Nintendo doesn't even consider usefully spent.
If you want to watch videos on the internet, go to your PC.

Oh, that's just you being too spoiled. Flash wastes loads of bandwidth with its oversizing of pages. And for what? For rainbow-colored gimmicks one can easily achieve with HTML5 (doesn't require ANYTHING except for a browser)?
Flash used to be something cool, but it's outdated. HTML5 can even process videos without anything even close to Flash - FireFox, Opera and Chrome all support HTML5 already.

Nintendo is really better off not subduing themselves with the media-obsessed people like you and instead focus on the point of their work: GAMES.

Listen to this person.

Nope, I reacted to him, but the information might also interest others - you seem to have read it, after all.

Html 5, I'm also going to assume its being created for the same reason PNG phased out GIF, on everything but small animation(and only because the format natively didn't support it). Basically GIF was a file formate owned by CompuServe so you were in theory supposed to pay them licensee fees to see them. Flash works the same way with it being Adobe video format, specifically FLV files. Not good in a free market Internet, particularly not good when Adobe is pulling flash support from everything except PCs.

Mind you if Google is getting Html5 support, shouldn't that mean you don't need to pay Google for an App. You just need to build a custom browser to run the videos, when looking them up. Heck, you should be able to program it to look up other video sites using Html 5. Internet based monopolies are a bit of a problem, since regulation controls file formates, and sites only use one format.

Cool story bro. Next time, more knowledge base instead of blatant assumptions.

Flash is NOT a free application for developers. Nintendo already had to pay for a license to be allowed to use Flash in the Opera browser for Wii.

What's your point? That your precious Nintendo has a problem handling all of that financially? Again what's your point?

Also, what the hell do you want with Flash support on a browser that is not even fast enough t process flash-based sites?

The FLASH isn't the problem, Nintendo's piss poor browser is, "wise guy". Enough with the pitiful excuses already. It is tiring.

They require much higher speed than the 3DS browser can offer.

Again, Nintendo's **** up, not FLASH's. Less fanboyism.

And a YouTube-App would mean Nintendo has to pay Google first (and they can name the price). Then they'd have to use a pseudo-site which reads YouTube-embeds and has to correctly process that medium with Flash - and then the real pain begins.

Too bad Nintendo is not paying you for your miserable ramblings. Again, Nintendo's problem. Why do you care so much by the way?

Hey, it's not my fault Nintendo can't make a video game equivalent of a PC, like the modern and adept guys (Sony, Microsoft which you evidently have NO knowledge of), but yet parade around with their malnutritioned hardware like they can actually be multimedia devices. Ah, did you even recollect this bit Mr. Scholar?

This is work that Nintendo doesn't even consider usefully spent.

Okay Reggie.

If you want to watch videos on the internet, go to your PC.

Yes, father. In the meantime, go give your kids commands to obey.

Nintendo is really better off not subduing themselves with the media-obsessed people like you and instead focus on the point of their work: GAMES.

U mad bro? After all, you seem to know everything. Oh the ways of the wise.

Listen to this person.

First learn and open your eyes to more than what you think you know, then try to use your "command" ability.
