So what kind of 3DS/Wii U interaction do you think we will get?

So I got a Wii U and as of now, as far as I know, only Miis can be transferred from 3DS..

It's weird enough as it is switching between the TV and Wii U Game Pad, but can you imagine... TV, Game Pad screen, and the 3DS dual screens with one in 3D all working together in a game... Mind Blown.

I bet Smash Bros will have local play with the 3DS, something we're already seeing with the upcoming Monster Hunter. I wouldn't be surprised to see more things like that, or even games like Words with Friends where the 3DS can sort of casually play against the WiiU online. Once the profiles link we could see friend lists, internet preferences, etc linking together as well.

Besides that idk, I wouldn't expect a whole lot. Still, very cool nonetheless.

Probably something really lame such as being able to upload Pokemon to Wii U and 'dress them!' Not doubt the fanboys will defend it though

Combine the dual-screens on your 3DS with your TV and Wii U Controller for quad-screen gaming.

a tunnelling app on the wiiu that tricks the 3ds into thinking its interactions are done locally (but in actuality its on the web)
this way we can streetpass people over the web without going out
^ if nintendo or some third party creates this app, i'll buy a wiiu right now just to have it

Would love a stream-3DS-to-Wii-U system, like how the Gamecube culd display GBA games on the television screen, but I don't think we'd be so lucky.

Wouldn't mind the extreme stretching, I reckon.

Best console war summary ever. TL;DR version at 2:05.

I wouldn't mind that one bit, would certainly make recording gameplay and audio easier for more people too. Not important but could be a cool addition.

One other think I really hope to see is the sort of cross-play Sony's doing with Vita where buying the game on one console also gives you a copy for the other w/ transferable saves. I'm not totally sure which games this would work well with yet but It's always nice to see real competition between companies.

would be cool but I doubt Nintendo would do it.. This would work well with eShop games though.

Well we know some games will be able to connect. Apparently SSF4 had a built in connection to an "unknown console" back when it first came out, but I really don't think Capcom will do anything with that this late in the game. Also we know MH3G/U will be able to connect to the Wii U version as well. Pretty sure they stated that Smash Bros will have a connection too. Hopefully we get more uses though lol
