I'd go with the 3DS for portability, but then again I got the game for free last year due to the Ambassador program so I have it on there regardless. Whatever floats your boat; it depends on whether you want portability + restore points or a bigger screen.

Actually, yeah, the GameCube controller handles great with pretty much every Wii VC system except the SNES (which it's horrible for). 3DS takes a bit to get used to since B is lower than A, as opposed to side-by-side on the NES and GCN controllers.

No, it only has a suspend save.
That may be enough of a reason on this particular title. Since I believe all NES 3DS VC have them one they were updated from ambassador releases. There are occasions where it will save you a lot of trouble, due to the three life system and reseting experience when you die.

Course, the game is pretty easy, and can be beaten in a couple hours, so it isn't a big deal.
The final palace is the only difficult part, and that's only if you don't know where to go.

Slow drivers should have their own roads to use, special roads for special drivers. Or, there should be a lane for these special people. Maybe the right lane.
