Do I need the CPP to enjoy RE:Revelations to the fullest?

I don't use gyro or CP+, and I'm fine. I beat the game three times.

No. Control Type C is fine

I've finished the game using CPP the first time. XL with no CPP the second time :)

To answer the question, a true RE experience would be to not use the CPP.

you got that backwards. true experience would require the CPP.

So the true RE experience is not tank controls?

Tell people to give RE6 more credit then.

Has everybody here even played it under EVERY control scheme to truly judge it?

It all comes down to what each person feels more comfortable with using anyway. As long as people online that I play with arent spamming shock grenades near me or rocket launchers and have decent accuracy idc what control scheme they use.

I prefer CPP but have never tried Gyro to complain or bash that scheme.

well, if you start playing the game with the CPP, you will never play without it. if you start playing it without the CPP and then try the CPP, it will be hard to adjust. that's how it was for me when playing kingdom hearts 3ds. started without CPP and when i tried CPP, could not get used to it

I have =/

Started with Gyro and beat the game with it. It sucks.

Bought the CPP and beat Hell & Raid Modes with it. Thought it was better.

Started playing outside my house with Controls A-C. A was best for me.

Control A feels the best for most of the Campaign levels (I believe 3 levels at most suits the CPP more). Boss fights were more fun without the CPP.

The CPP is better for Raid Mode because it is faster and more action-oriented.

I stand by what I said: If you want a true Resident Evil experience, play without the CPP.

Edit: I hate playing KH without the CPP. It is too exploration and action-oriented for that. I started without the CPP too.
