I'd be more interested in a Dark Spire sequel but that will never happen.

Have fun with EO IV you guys :3

I wonder if it'll be as good as the EOIII artbook. That one's pretty nice.

It is based on the old school RPGs where you never had your hand held, combat is unforgiving, and you have to draw your own maps.

Don't get too excited about the art book. Looks like it'll be the same as the Code of Princess one. Which I was sort of disappointed with.

Anyways, pre-ordered even if I've yet to beat the other three.

Yeah, based on the picture it seems to be the same type of thing Code of Princess had, which is a very, very small artbook with CD. Still beats nothing, of course.

I was too, but hey, free is free.

I'll be looking into this game to see if I'd enjoy it.

This tickles Frood's fancy.
It's a shame that I'm buying a new gaming rig early next year, all those discounted Steam games that don't run on my current computer will be pulled up to the front of the backlog. Still going to Pre-order, but I might not play it for a few weeks.

This will be my 4th day one purchase since I got my 3DS.

The other 3 were Theatrhytm Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts 3D, and Code of Princess.

III was the easiest?! Oh s*** haha.

But yeah, I've learned that part of the game is managing what you have against crazy hard battles repeatedly. Difficulty is inherently part of the experience, and the game wouldn't function well without it.

Yes, Eo3 is easiest because...
1; You can subclass your character which results in things like Princess Hoplite, LOL healing tank, Ninja Zodiac, Ha ha magic limitation what magic limitations, or Gladiator Buccaneer, well who wanted only one devastating attack per-turn

2; The level cap is 99, yes EO1's level cap is 70

3; Sea battles offer free healing to save money

4; higher level sea battles were for latter anyway, but they don't require a specific set of skills, for some reason EO1 wanted you to have a Protector's Antis(Fire,Ice,Thunder) to even stand a chance against post game, and as far as I can tell the final final needed Medic's Immunize(you can avoid both the rest of the game, even though that was the standard build)

5; EO2 cut experience gain from FOE monsters which means the only reason to fight them are the items, it also nerfed the most EO1 class setups(except Revenging Hexor).

6; Oh and the Guild options for Rest and Retire were far more steep, leading to grinding if you wasted to skill point in useless areas.
