Nintendo 3DS

I just realized... Nintendo turned 2 rather big games into 3D classics.

Ocarina of Time 3D
Star Fox 64 3D

Essentially, they are Nintendo classics and they pretty much received the same kind of treatment as other 3D classics. A graphical overhaul and tweaks to the gameplay. Difference is that these games have 3D gameplay, as opposed to the other 3D classics that all have 2D gameplay.

Kid Icarus: Graphical overhaul, added backrounds, replaced shoddy password system with a save file system.
OoT 3D: Graphical overhaul, added touch-screen features (allowing you to equip more items at once), gyroscope feature, some bugs & glitches fixed.
Star Fox 64 3D: Graphical overhaul, some added touch-screen features, gyroscope control, some extras.

Both of them are Nintendo classics, so they're essentially 3D Classics, I'd say.

Kid Icarus is not a remake or port or anything. Its a reboot.

TC is talking about 3D Classics: Kid Icarus. Not Kid Icarus: Uprising. The latter is indeed a reboot, but the former can be considered a remake.

Uprising is a sequel, actually. The game starts off with "it's been 25 years" and there's a whole lot of other things point towards the NES game. Not sure if there's any references to the 2nd game for the Game Boy though.
