A better comparison would be Adventure Time or a splinter.

...I'd take the splinter.

Quit hating on an awesome show, bro.

But I'm not "hating on" an awesome show. I'm expressing my disdain for a terrible show that is a clear testament to how far Cartoon Network has fallen.

Yeah, you are. AT is one of the better shows CN has airing.

Do you honestly think I bash Adventure Time simply for the sake of it being cool to hate on it? Don't be absurd. Adventure Time is as niche as it comes. Not even Canadians, people who neighbor our country, get the channel required to watch it. Adventure Time is nothing but a joke, a ridiculous program that overuses outdated jokes to pander to the unwashed masses. People say that television rots your brains. That is untrue. However, it is true that certain programs will rot your brain. Adventure Time is one. And you are a shining example of a person who is too far gone after watching that show. I pity you.

No, Adventure Time actually requires you to use your brain to understand the story. Yes, there is an actual story trying to be explained in it. Read this:

...What nonsense.

What part? I assume you've read at least a paragraph since that should take less time than a response.

I read the Mushroom War part. All of that is nonsense.

...That isn't saying much. And that was my point. Almost everything Cartoon Network shows is garbage. All you're saying is that one piece of garbage is better than some other pieces of garbage.

Whatever. Your just trolling at this point. So taking you seriously went out the window.

Well since it seems you have an inability to look at links I'll just post the first part for you.

The Mushroom War (usually refered to as the Great Mushroom War) is the cause of the post-apocalyptic condition of the Land of Ooo. Not much is known about the war at the moment, but the inclusion of "mushroom" in the title is probably referring to the mushroom shaped explosion generated by atomic weapons.

Still nonsense? Well, think about it. This is a show for children. You can't outright say "nuclear war" on it. But we can say that this idea is idiotic. There' no way this could be true, right? Well...

This is further supported by the ruined pieces of modern technology scattered across the land, and the beginning of the opening theme (which briefly shows the remains of nuclear bombs and other weapons).

Then there's a "no way" factor until you actually see the opening and pause within the frst second.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A7Jvk6__23I

You see a ruined hill that has a broken television, three nuclear missiles, a skull, a videotape, mice, knives, and headphones hanging from a creepy tree while there's another tree looking as though it has an expression of despair.

That is downright frightening to include in a child's show and is easily overlooked.

No, I mean I read everything in that link in that first segment that said Mushroom War. I skipped the part that said Evidence or Clues of Former Civilizations. Everything I read in that link is nonsense. There's no way any of that happened.

You mean in the real world? Duuuuuuuh.

In Adventure Time though, the world being post-apocalyptic is old news. There's even an episode where they create a new timeline where the mutating nuke doesn't go off, and everyone is human / normal animals.

depends, Adventure time is sort of a ARPG. Epic Mickey is just a platformer. Both are good, both are short. Wait for a buy 1 get one half off sale and get both. Neither is worth full price, but both are very fun!
