Can anybody NOT see the 3d effect (for whatever reason) and still enjoy a 3DS?

Just curious.
One of my eyes is pretty "hit or miss", and I can see the 3d effect somewhat? but I don't know, I feel like it doesn't look "as 3d" to me as it does others, with better eyes?

Anyways... still enjoyable?

I can't, my eyesight is really bad and it's not just 3d but anything long distance and that with glasses. I'm going to get new ones and hopefully I can see the 3D after that.

i play with 3d off all the time(i have little patience for the small sweet spot every few days) and i enjoy it tons. 3d should never be an incentive to buy something - its a fad that appears once or twice a decade and then vanishes after 2 years, which is why nintendo stated there will be slightly less focus on 3d in the future. its still enjoyable without it though, it would've failed pretty hard if wasn't. (like VB)

Of course, it has good games, you know. A ton of people don't even use the 3D effect.
Now playing: Paper Mario SS, Code of Princess, Mark of the Ninja, SFxT.

I never use the 3D effect and I still enjoy playing the games, the games are still fun with or without the 3D effect.

Yup. I don't use the 3DS, and a friend of mine can't see it at all. We both enjoy it plenty.

I bought the 3DS knowing I wasn't going to be able to see it, and I enjoyed it tremendously. Then for some reason I really wanted a VITA and sold and all my DS and 3DS games to buy one.....then ended up selling my VITA because I didn't enjoy it....Then used that money to buy more 360 games. Now I don't have a handheld =/

A life full of misadventures has damaged one eye, and while it is slowly... ever so slowly, healing, retinal scarring doesn't let me see the 3D so well.
I still really enjoy my 3DS. Who cares about the 3D part, I say! It shall have Animal Crossing soon!

I have trouble seeing the depth aspect occasionally, but I can see the pop-out effect fairly well. I still enjoy 3DS because I enjoy the games, 'nuff said.
