DoA: Dimension DLC question

Is it saved to your system or SD card? I know I had all the DLC costumes, but they aren't showing up on my old 3DS. I did the system transfer to my XL, and they were't showing up on that either.

Sold it before I got my XL unfortunately, but I'd also like to know this for other games with DLC.

If it is tied to the system, then I might be in trouble. I had to send in my 3DS a while back due to the screen scratch issue.

IIRC it's in the SD card.. 99% sure, but wait for others to confirm, there is always a chance anybody could be wrong with anything.

They are stored in the SD and tied to your console. If you didnt make a backup of the sd contents and they are not longer in the SD, then you lost them forever. I made a backup before doing the transfer to my XL. gladly I didn't need it, since I carefully followed all the instructions and my data in the SD was not erased.

I just tried inserting the old SD card I used on my 3DS, and they showed up. Can I transfer them to my XLs SD card?
