Two things I'd like to know

Sorry Hunter, can only answer two of your questions...

JRPGs -

Actually there's quite a lot of them out there on the DS, and a few on the 3DS as well. You've got games like Sands of Destruction, Radiant Historia, Rune Factory (in a way), Tales of the Abyss, Golden Sun 3, etc, but the simple truth is... The PSP is the JRPG powerhouse.

Just to name a few of the PSP's library...

- Star Ocean
- Star Ocean 2
- Fate Extra
- Final Fantasy 4 Collection (includes 3 games)
- Final Fantasy 1 remake
- Final Fantasy 2 remake
- Final Fantasy 3 remake (the DS version)
- Final Fantasy Crisis Core
- Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep
- The 3rd Birthday (Parasite Eve series, more shooter this time though)
- Chrono Trigger
- Ys 1 + 2
- Ys The Oath in Felghana
- Ys Seven
- Persona 1
- Persona 2
- Persona 3
- Brave Story
- The Disgaea series and its spin offs (I believe there's around 4 of them on the PSP)
- Class of Heroes
- Mimana Iyar Chronicle
- Lunar
- The Legends of Heroes
- The Legends of Heroes 2
- The Legends of Heroes 3
- The Legends of Heroes Trials in the Sky (the first of a new series not related to 1-3)
- Mana Khemia
- Phantasy Star Portable (single player)
- Phantasy Star Portable 2 (single player mixed with the online MMORPG mode)
- Tales of the World (Japan actually has about 4 more Tales of games we didn't get)
- Jikandia
- Valhalla Knights
- Valhalla Knights 2

and so on. ALSO since you can download PSOne games, it also has access to...

- Final Fantasy 6
- Final Fantasy 7
- Final Fantasy 8
- Final Fantasy 9
- Threads of Fate
- Xenogears
- Chrono Cross
- Grandia
- Arc the Lad
- Arc the Lad 2
- Arc the Lad 3
- Parasite Eve
- Parasite Eve 2
- Legend of Mana
- Wild Arms
- Vagrant Story

and many, MANY more.

Plus, on top of that, the Vita can download almost every game I listed above, and the Vita itself has a few JRPGs on the way as well. Final Fantasy X HD is just one example.

As for Kingdom Hearts, it's an Action JRPG lol.

^ Yeah. The SNES = love all the way. That's why I still have mine. However, I'm afraid my old TV may go one day replaced by a flat panel HD TV. D: Thus, I might as well chain my fat TV to the floor and pray it lives the 21st century until Nintendo ports over every single game into the 3DS. =,= I'm not even sure if my SNES is still working. My N64 died like two years ago... *sniff*

I recently sold all my consoles because im unsure of their ability to work, to bad i lack money for a newer console but i wish i could find a gamecube , ps2 or a psp in my price range. I really thought i could go all handheld but i couldnt.

I see. Well, if you can find a used PS2 that's affordable, I would highly recommend you to go for it. (Although, I read the rumors that the PS4 is going backwards compatibility via Omni cloud service so you may want to wait for that?) The PSP is going to be super tough for you, as of now. I wish you a double good luck on trying to find a Game Cube. ^^;

I went from N64 to the PS2 in the early 2000s, and I didn't regret it one bit. I skipped out on every Nintendo console since the 64. I've only been getting the Nintendo portables as they're pretty satisfying for me. TV console-wise, I think I'm going to stick with Sony, despite their financial woes. It's a way to get a JRPG fix so not much to lose there. (I am skipping out on the PS3, no matter how many people tell me to get one...)

Gamecube was my last of my favorites.....WiiU...ehh I think I only want one because its a nintendo thing but I would be happy with a PS(whatever) lol and.....maybe a vita like the one above me said....my only complaint is certain games not on a PSP like Kingdom Hearts BBS and Star Ocean >.< lol. I think the system I had the most games out of was my N64 though. Nintendo's consoles...just dont have that feel anymore and I love their handhelds to fill some of that void...such as platformers and action adventures but gamecube era...truthfully I wish my PS2 had more games...just my parents remembered Nintendo games easier lol.

4. Besides Plants vs. Zombies how are Bloons TD? and any other good Tower Defenses? Not sure if Dillon's Rolling Western is good or worth the moolah.

Unless you're willing to pay $5 to play Bloons TD3 or Bloons TD4 anywhere, just play them for free online.

Both have impressive RPG libraries, but I think the DS has the better one, between Dragon Quest, Kingdom Hearts, Tales, Final Fantasy and SMT, and a lot more.

Bloons TD4 does have some extra stuff you can buy with real money, total of everything is $15. It's kinda fun to mess around with, but it's not worth $15 and makes the game way too easy.

Yeah I basically just like TD games some in some cases I don't really want to own I just want to play them if that makes any sense.

I see. >D (Well, between the Vita and the PSP, you can still buy a lot of the old PSP games on Amazon. With the Vita, you have no UMD drive.)
