is Castlevania: The Adventure on the eShop any good?

It's one of the worst Castlevania games ever. People may say the music is good, but everything else about it is horrible. Bad controls, you look like you're walking on lead boots, and there's lots of tiny platforms you have to jump on, and you have to jump right at the last possible second if you want to make it. If not, you have to start all over, and over, and over, and over...I could barely make it past the first level and I still have the original cartridge.

It's..OK. It hasn't aged well. Only really get it if you're a hard core castlevania fan.

It's pretty nostalgic for me though because it was not only my first Game Boy game, it was also my very first Castlevania game long before I really got into the series with Dawn of Sorrow more than 15 years later.

It sucks, but its sequel is pretty good. Wait for that one instead.

Why Nintendo chose to put such a mediocre game on the Eshop instead of the first NES castlevania game which is far superior in every way is beyond my comprehension.

It is bad. May I suggest Gargoyle's Quest instead?

Apparently Castlevania is a Nintendo title now.
