For seriousness, don't consider getting this game for a 5-6 year old. I played the demo and I got scared a bit considering the music wasn't on. But than again I tried to knife it and I aimed very terribily...

Games to consider are:
Pokemon
Super 3D Mario Land
Freakyforms deluxe
Super scribblenauts (Useful in a way as it can open up the person's vocabulary)
One of the lego games.

I think Freakyforms is a perfect idea.

Also Scribblenauts Unlimited. And of course Super Mario 3D Land.

Life must be dreary, being born with no sense of humor.

I suggest Scribblenauts, Ocarina of Time (I loved that when I was 6), or any of the Mario games. Especially 3D Land since that seems most accessible. Pokémon would only give her an addiction that lasts a life time. Do you really want to do that to her? I'm damn near 20 and can't stop playing Pokémon lol

You only need to know two things to understand KH: Everyone is Sora, Everything is Xehanort's fault.
