Considering the games released so far, and the ones on the horizon...(CPP topic)

Do you think the next 3DS revision will have all of the CPP's functions? - Results (64 votes)
The next 3DS will for sure have all of the CPP's functions.

It will probably just have a second circle pad.

Probably none of them, I'm not sure.

Definitely not. The next revision will have some other upgrade.

It's not seeming THAT relevant to have the CPP's function considering the games that have been and will be released, but it seems like the most logical upgrade to make to the 3DS at this point.

What do you guys think?

I hope they won't release any kind of new model with a second stick to be honest.
I like it how it is, with a second stick purely optional.

Like the N64 memory expansion you had to have for certain games? Or the Wiimote extra gyroscope doohickey you had to buy for certain games? Given Big N's normal level of greed, why would they include it rather than making you buy it as an add-on?

I'm waiting for Bandai to release the WonderSwan/SwanCrystal II and blow both the Vita and the 3DS away.

They included the N64 Expansion Pak with some games that needed it, and they made a Wiimote with Motion+ built in.

The Circle Pad Pro is being pretty underutilized.

There were some games early this year that used it and now there's maybe one or two more coming out that use it. Given how little use it's getting I'd say it's not worth making the extra buttons a permanent fix on the system.

My thoughts exactly.

....but then again, Nintendo does some of the weirdest stuff sometimes.

Nah, they still haven't released CCP for XL outside of Japan, so I don't see much of a chance for more support. They planned it horribly, and barely any dev's support it.
