Just got my 3DS today.
It came with Mario Kart 7.
I grabbed Theatrythm Final Fantasy....
and Harvest Moon 3D...
and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D....
and Kingdom Hearts 3D.

Used my points on the website to order a 2 sided pouch for this bad boy, and I am feeling good.

So now, are there other mus haves out there I need to be getting? I will definitely grab Tales of the Abyss at some point, and Mario 3D Land is fairly obvious, but what are the other gems?

Kid Icarus Uprising, there will never be a better answer than this.
Don't hope for a new GOOD Megaman game. In the end it's only going to get cancelled.

Star Fox 64 3D is pretty great. Resident Evil: Revelations is amazing for a handheld game.

Oh it is good. It's great, actually.
Definiatly get it if you never played the original,
if you have played the original, though, there is not much
new except improved graphics and master quest.

Sonic Generations 3DS, as long as you have the console version as well. It complimates the console version well.

Shinobi 3DS is highly recommended if you like challenging sidescrolling action-platformers. I also think Super Mario 3D Land is a great platformer. A bit on the easy side if all you want to do 100%, but it has brilliant level design and I think it's very enjoyable to replay with tons of ways to challenge yourself (speedruns, no-death files, no powerups, etc.)

In SA2, it's Super Sonic and Hyper Shadow.
