Will we ever see a true Super Mario RPG sequal?

Booster,

Oh the wario looking dude. His dungeon is far more memorable than he himself. He also had no significant dialog.

You kidding me? The whole sequence with him at the wedding chapel was perfect. He asks Peach if she's leaking when she's crying. And then he eats the living cake and is content in declaring the wedding to be over, despite not getting married to anyone. He's a childish weirdo in a position of power.

SMRPG, TTYD, and Superstar Saga are all brilliant games, and then I like the other Mario RPGs to varying degrees. SMRPG oozes charm from its characters, story, and music.

I went back and replayed SMRPG. There is no characters that are close to being as memorable as characters like Rawk Hawk and Fawful.

It still has far more memorable characters than any M&L game. M&L has one or two memorable characters that are better than a majority of the ones found in SMRPG, but SMRPG has a much better and wider cast.

Smrpg aside from being a classic stands out in gameplay and story.

Bare bones, generic battle system and awful Isometric platforming = good gameplay?

I like Paper Mario 64 and SMRPG about the same, very good games. I don't like Mario and Luigi very much because I like using characters that aren't only Mario and Luigi.

Lmao @ this guy thinking we have to be young to think that SMRPG is one of the weaker RPG games. No, atleast on my part. I'm simply talking from an objective stand point. SMRPG was a beginner's RPG. Basically it was what Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest was supposed to be: Introduce people into the genre. It's pretty ****ing barebones, the art style didn't age well, the isometric platforming was all kinds of awful.

Personally, I love SMRPG, but I feel like it should remain a one-verse song. The ending kicked ass (the credits, especially), and to me, it felt like, yeah. It's over.

Mario & Luigi kicks ass, and so does Paper Mario.

Or just have really bad taste. Take your pick.

It's my favorite SNES game, and I'd love a port of SMRPG to the 3DS, or at least for it to be in the 3DS eShop. A game for Geno would be welcomed though, I always wished they had done more with him.

You probably are one of those people who think Super Mario 64 > Super Mario Galaxy 1/2
