EDIT: Put Donkey Kong Country Returns into number 2, hence why Sly is number 6 (can't just get rid of it! lol :p)

I just couldn't pick 5... It's too hard. So here's my top 5 favorite 2D and 3D platformers.

2D Platformers (These are in order of preference.)

1. Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
2. Super Mario Bros. 3
3. Mega Man 7
4. Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest
5. Sonic the Hedgehog 2

3D Platformers (in no particular order.)

1. Super Mario Galaxy 1&2 (2 was more of a glorified expansion anyway.)
2. Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back
3. Sonic Adventure 2: Battle
4. Banjo Kazooie
5. Donkey Kong 64

Don't hope for a new GOOD Megaman game. In the end it's only going to get cancelled.
