When does the e-shop update?

I have a $20 e-shop card I got for Xmas that I'm itching to spend. My question is, when does the e-shop update. I'd rather wait till the e-shop updates incase of potential sales.

I think thursday just by looking at the releases on this site.

I lost track since it was monday and I didn't see any post of it being moved.

They announced the change a while ago.
I got robbed a month before the XL came out and I forgot they changed it too.
