Top screen feels a bit loose?

So I got this new 3DS for Christmas, and I absolutely love it so far. However, I DO have one concern. The top screen of it is kind of wobbly. Like, if I shake it back and forth like I accidentally do from time to time, it kinda jiggles with it even when locked in one of the two positions. Is it supposed to do this, or did I get a defective one? I'm just worried that the top part is going to fall off one day soon when I accidentally move it too fast.

The top half of the 3DS system? Im pretty sure its normal if it wobbles just alittle after you open it all the way (you hear the click).

If its the top game screen, then thats an issue.

Make sure to examine for any microscopic particles that may be sullying the surface of your 3DS, too. That's an issue.

Not the screen itself, the top half of the 3DS feels a bit loose. Although I'm not sure if it's supposed to be like that or if it's supposed to be firm.

Also, the 3DS itself is clean and there's no dust.

It is a very common problem, most people I know (Including me) have a wobbly hinge. I do have some friends who have perfect hinges though.

It'll be fine, I've had mine since launch and the wobble doesn't really cause any issues except for times when you have to move the system around, like shooting arrows with the accelerometer in LoZ:OoT.

Just be careful not to bend the screen back any further than it is supposed to bend. I had someone accidentally knock my screen past the second position and the wobble got dramatically worse, like 3-5 mm more movement. Of course everything is still playable just fine.
