While i don't doubt the 3DS's power, i felt rather curious to wonder considering Xenoblade is an open-world kind of JRPG. Though considering the 3DS has more memory/RAM than the Wii i believe, could it be pretty easy for the 3DS to handle it? Considering it seemed pretty taxing on the Wii imo.

Such a large open-world JRPG would be terrible on any handheld. --- Want Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, Rayman Legends, and Bioshock Infinite. i7-2670qm @ 2.2ghz | 6GB DDR3 | 1GB Geforce 540m

How so? The 3DS has better hardware than the Wii if I remember well Xenoblade allows you to save anywhere. The texture problems of Xenoblade would look a lot more bearable in a smaller resolution too The only problem would be the music and sound quality --- Just when I thought you couldn't possibly become any dumber. You go and do something like that.

Maybe, if the 3ds can handle MH3, I don't see why it wouldn't be able to handle Xenoblade --- Hi! My name is Zeke, here's my 3DS code:1118-1052-2607 (PM me if you add me) Official Ninja of the Spam Masters Clan

Took a bit of digging, found that Xenoblade is 5.98 GB. Since 3DS carts can go up to 8 GB, yes it can hold Xenoblade. --- Stop reading my sig, you are wasting time doing so.

It could handle it. I doubt we'd ever see such a game on the 3DS but there's nothing about the 3DS technically incapable of running it.
And as Shadow Stalker said the 3DS has the potential to have 8GB carts. That's also not going to limit it any. --- NEVER judge a game you have not played. -Granville

How does Xenoblade compare to Monster Hunter Tri? Isn't that game pretty big too? --- Now playing: Paper Mario SS, Code of Princess, Mark of the Ninja, SFxT. | 3DS | PS3 | PC | Wii |
