They always have dirt under them. Now I have these stupid air bubbles on my screen that will never go away. Any good way to clean this off.

peel it off and wash it...
dry it off, clean the 3ds screen and apply it in a steamy bathroom

I bought an electric duster for $50 for computer maintenance, but it also allowed me to apply my Hori screen protector without worry.

If you are careful in applying you shouldn't have trouble with bubbles or dirt underneath. At least I haven't. This includes two 3DS, one 3DS XL, and multiple iterations of the DS.

Me too, I ended up with several air bubbles and a couple of dirt specks.
