I don't think most 3DS owners are kids.

I keep hearing this from older people and even in some interviews on Gametrailers.

Things such as "the Vita is trying to go for kids with Tear Away but that's the 3DSes market" and hearing people in class saying "yeah I got it for my little brother/sister".

I mean, I'm 23 and bought my own 3DS and love it.

I'd like to get a demographic check here at Gamefaqs. If you own the 3DS tell us how you got it and how old you are.

Thanks.

21 and doing this is the worse way to tell because someone can always just lie. The way is to go to a Streetpass group because you can see how old a person is.

Not sure if you consider anything under 18 as "kid," but I'm 16 and picked up an XL a few days ago.

Nintendo has inherently always been aimed more toward children than Sony or Xbox is, if only for the fact that they make the most child-friendly games of the 3 companies.

Wait you mean go to a public place and look for a group there?

I just got my 3DS this month so I'm not familiar with StreetPass other than when you pass 3DSes you get their data.

I just recently turned 29. i bought my 3DS for myself when i was 27. what is it with people out there:

"aren't you a little too old for video games?.. aren't you ever gonna be a man and grow up?"

My god, shut the f*** up!. go do your lame b*** s*** or take your (old) ass ta sleep! lol. i work like everybody else out there to live. isn't that good enough to where i can enjoy some video games for a few hours?.

This wasn't aimed at you TC or anyone on here btw, lol. i just get tired of people like this! >_>.
