kids these days all want smartphones and tablets

they don't even care about buttons

I think most of the western people who bought a 3ds did so for games

its not really refutable that nintendo markets more towards younger gamers than sony does.
That doesnt mean there isnt plenty of content for older gamers... but hey, it is what it is.

Even IF you could provide proof to back it up, there are always going to be games that are aimed at either older teenagers and or young adults. And I doubt most people that play WoW are kids.

There's plenty of research data to suggest this yourself. And I'm sure CoD players also try to fool themselves into thinking that they're too "hardcore" to be mostly made up of kids, even though anyone with a headset would be able to tell you otherwise.

Games are toys, and toys are aimed primarily at kids. Yes, there are those of us who are older who play games as well, but we're not the main audience of ANY game company. You've all read the stories of kids who get their parents to buy them the M-rated games with no problem.
