GBA. I think DS is overrated. --- PS3/Vita PSN: kewldude475; 3DS FC: 4253-3798-3218; Steam: kewldude475 Now playing: Persona 3: FES, Assassin's Creed 2

GBA because of the Gambeboy Player option on the NGC. Also, Backwards Compatibility with Gameboy and GBC was a treat to replay classics.
The SP upgrade was better than the upgrades the DS got, like no Backwards compatibility with GBA in return for download games for a price.
Also, it was a good point that goo many DS games forced touch screen controls on games that didn't need it, even "C. Dawn of Sorrow" used it to defeat bosses which wasn't necessary IMO. --- The Infinite Improbability Drive is our New Hope

This is too hard. I love them both, but if I had to choose I would say the DS, but only by a small margin. They were both great systems.

GBA for me. The square one (can't remember the name) was the best. I also never had any hardware problems on the GBA, while I've had three separate DSs have their L-buttons crap out.
I mostly ended up using my DS for playing GBA games anyways.

Dang this is a hard choice. On the GBA Pokemon was so fresh to me and gave me many hours of fun(I can still hit 100 plus hours on the new ones but its nothing new), and man Medabots on GBA was awesome and so long, plus games like Sonic Advance, Megman Zero, and the list go on.
But the list for DS games and the RPG monster that it is. I got to hand it to the DS, which almost feels wrong. --- GT:Kahlilx77, The internet, where common sense is a monumental achievement

The DS. So many great games on that console. --- "[Soccer] is like chess, only without the dice." -Lukas Podolski
In retrospect, I think my preference for the GBA stems from the fact the DS has a TON of shovelware, and the GBA period was when Nintendo didn't tolerate that BS from developers.
Or maybe because the GBA didn't have much competition back then? Even if the DS had shovelware from here and there, it still undeniably had a lot of quality games.

GBA. Most of the series we have on the DS were done better or originally debuted on the GBA. The GBA was just a gaming behemoth. Too many DS games tried to be innovative or special, and ended up all feeling the same in the end. --- chrisAAMO | 2938_5923_5833

GBA for me. The system had a lot variety and quality with its games. And none of them tried to force a gimmick on you like the stylus or turning your system at weird angles.

DS, because it could also play GBA.
