What future games would justify a purchase of a 3DS at its current pricetag?

For the first time, I'm actually interested in owning a 3DS. I don't think it's worth over a $100, though, and I only see two or three games worth owning it for at the moment.

Well, going on upcoming titles alone, there's:
- Luigi's Mansion 2
- Animal Crossing
- Fire Emblem
- Etrian Odyssey IV
- Soul Hackers
- Unchained Blades (eShop)
- Castlevania

The list goes on, and that's only for the first half of the year. Far from a terrible line up.

Shin Megami Tensei IV.

They only make a new one (Main series and numbered) every decade or so. It's like a unicorn.

The 3DS is great but it needs a first person shooter. I'm surprised it hasn't gotten one yet.

Allarw either confirmed for western release, guaranteed based on past precedent, strongly hinted at, or outright said they wish to bring it over,

Kid icarus uprising, resident evil and 3D land alone make the 3DS worth it right now IMO.

Right now it's Fire Emblem and Monster Hunter for me. Eventually there's going to be another 3D Mario title and hopefully another Kid Icarus?

For me it's

- Fire Emblem Awakening
- Etrian Odyssey IV
- Soul Hackers
- Monster Hunter
- SMT IV
- Dragon Quest VII

Not to mention games already out like Devil Survivor Overclocked and Resident Evil Revelations (I just got my 3DS XL this holiday). Plus all the DS games I never played like Strange Journey, Dragon Quest IX, and Radiant Historia.

And that's just the first half. Tons of current games to play as well if u haven't yet. Hell I might be more excited for my 3DS this year than 360, minus bioshock infinite and GTA5 which are givens.
