This I know. And there are now I think SIX titles in that series.
Legend of Heroes has kind of a wacky release history-
The US got the first Legend of Heroes game (which was actually part of the Dragon Slayer line) on I think the TurboGraphix. We never got the second game. Then 3, 4 and 5 are the Gagharv trilogy, and then the Trails in the Sky series.
All you really need to know is the series is a Falcom series. That alone causes it problems. I mean look at Ys, there are actually two different Ys IV's. Mask of the Sun on SNES and The Dawn of Ys over on Turbo CD. Lets not even try to figure out out if Faxanadu is considered a Dragon Slayer game. That would in turn mean Legend of Heroes and Faxanadu would technically be part of the same series.
The main issue seems to be Falcom was always a PC developer, so when they dropped off to PC only, at the end of the 16bit eara, up till the PSP people forgot about them. Legend of Heroes popping back up on PSP didn't get any notice precisely because Namco botched the English localization. When Xseed got Trails in the Sky and did it properly people noticed, proving proper localization can be a power full thing.
But who knows we are destined to get Falcom games in a patchy mess. It doesn't matter if it's Ys, Dragon Slayer, Xanadu/Faxanadu, Popful Mail, Brandish, Sorcerian, Legend of Heroes, Gurumin, Zwei, or something else. It certainly doesn't help many of the release aren't even attributed to Falcom directly, due to porter/publisher only getting get the credits on this site. Yes I'm telling you, that you can't see Legend of Heroes PSP games published by Namco on the Falcom game page, also the original 1992 PC-98 version of Popful Mail isn't even listed(and the Turbo CD version would only be under NEC). The western world doesn't get Japanese PC developers, it likes to pretend they don't exist, unless they are on consoles.
- Rabi X Laby series (only the first one was released as DSiWare)
We have had Rabi x Laby 2 since July. There seems to be some indication of Witch's Cat coming sooner or later(actually I'm not sure where I got that impression, but it's there for some reason). So I'd expect Rabi x Laby 3, the game people would actually want, is forth coming at some point(It did take them over a year to bring over 2).
Didn't see a mention of River City Ransom Anniversary on the first two pages, so I'm going to toss that up here.
MrKunio and I mentioned it, but in its Japanese name of Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-Kun Soecial, but I completely am with you. =D
Don't let TC know you want to play it, though, or he will accuse you of being a Pabst Blue Ribbon drinking, flannel shirt wearing hipster! I only wear flannel shirts because it's snowing outside. =( I only drink the PBR when my friends buy it as a joke at the bar.
Lucky for me, wearing glasses will not help the vision problems I have, so I don't have the trendy hipster glasses. =D Even if I wold craft them wehn I worked in the lab at Lens Crafters. =(
I can't help but feel like localization has really gone down the tubes lately. Of all of the titles people wanted out of Japan on 3DS, like Senran Kagura, Project X Zone, Bravely Default, Culdcept, etc, I'm starting to worry that we're not going to get any of them. Region free is starting to become more important than ever.
