2012: The year of two bad Mario games.

New Super Mario Bros 2 and Paper Mario Sticker Star were both huge disappointments.

Two bad Mario games in one year hasn't happened since Mario's Time Machine and Mario is Missing in 1993 on the SNES.

Funny thing about opinions, everyone has them. I liked NSMB2 and Paper Mario: Sticker Star.

I liked both of them, so your argument is invalid.

I'm enjoying Paper Mario. NSMB2. . . not so much, but still I wouldn't say either game is bad. They're mediocre at worst, certainly not comparable to Mario's Time Machine or Mario is Missing.

Even if it is a "rehash" NSMB2 wasn't THAT bad. People just complain about it because they fell for some cheap gimmick(the million coin thing) and didn't play it for the actual game. Sticker Star on the other hand I can't comment on because It didn't even look all that exciting from what I saw in the trailers and reviews. So I skipped that one.

I'm not into the Paper Mario series, and NSMB2 was meh. I really hated the music for that game.

"It sucks, and you're all stupid for liking it."

People just love to complain about NSMB games because "they're milking it! They just make one every year!" Granted, 2 was a little too similar to 1 for my liking, but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it. It just didn't feel as fresh as NSMB, or Wii. U is proving to be much more enjoyable than 2.

And Sticker Star is just awesome, even if it's lacking some of the Paper Mario staples, such as a partner, and leveling. I've been enjoying it immensely, especially the cute story sorta things they've done with paper and stickers in it.

NSMB2 will be acceptable when it's on sale for like eight bucks.
