How would you feel if Satoru Iwata was fired?

Would you guys think things would go for the worse for Nintendo, or for the better?

I'm personally leaning towards the worse. Since he technically is one of, if not the reasons Nintendo were able to turn around from their darkest days during the N64/GC era. Especially in the DS's case. How would you take the situation if it ever came to fruition, personally?

(Also inb4lolEndgame).

For the worse, duh.

Iwata pulled Nintendo out of their dark days, which were the N64 and Gamecube eras.

It would be the ABSOLUTE. WORST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO ME.

*cries*

EDIT: On a serious note, I think it would be pretty bad.

Isn't he like the President of Nintendo? The top guy? >_>

How can he be fired. He does the firing.

Yes.

Would step-down or replaced be a better definition then?

I'm sure companies have a board of directors or something for this kind of thing. Even company CEO's and presidents would not be immune.

Not sure about Nintendo's corporate structure, but Solar_Crimson is right; Iwata can likely be fired by a board of people we've never heard of.

Iwata's done and continues to do a great job with Nintendo. He was partially responsible for finding Nintendo's current niche in the market, and presents an amiable face for the company whose charisma exceeds even Reggie's (especially Reggie from his early days). Iwata's removal with or without scandal would result in a drastic hit to Nintendo's stock, and would probably result in the company making hasty and poor decisions while regaining its footing and trying to recapture its public image.
