How necessary is the circle pad pro?

Just picked up a 3ds recently and I noticed that two of the games I own support the peripheral. Is it something I should get?

for resident evil revelations, it plays better with it than without IMO. for kingdom hearts, it could go either way.. as for the other games, dunno. it's not necessary though. at least not yet

if you care about camera control using a 2nd stick, possibly. if you don't, then no.

Not necessary in the least. It's just a gimmick to get people to spend more money.

With Metal Gear it's a must. Less for Re:R.

It's worthless.

I've played Resident Evil and Kid Icarus just fine without it.

Metal Gear almost requires it. Resident Evil Revelations plays much more like a horror game without it. I say RE:R is better without.

I used it for RE:D and MGS3D and I say it's a must for both.
I would not play either if I didn't have the Circle Pad Pro.
