New Super Mario Bros. 2... worth it?

Because I honestly thought the first one was just too easy..... I finished the game with about 90 lives, died maybe twice.

I had a wonderfully pleasant experience with New Super Mario Bros. 2. If you found the original to be easy, though, you will probably find this one to be easy as well.

It's still immensely fun, however. And the coin rush mode is addictive and crazy fun!

If you had fun with the first one and you really want a mario game, sure. I would say don't buy it at full price, but I think that's your only option since it's Nintendo.

It's basically just the first game with different levels.

It seems as if people habitually ask the same damn question(s) in a topic, just fifty million different ways. At least ask this on the NSMB 2 boards. -_-

All of them have the same brain dead game play and platforming of all 2D Mario games, specifically the NSMB ones; minus SMB and SMB 2 (lost levels). NSMB 2 is NO different. In fact, it's the WORST. It's the laziest romhack, and a dumber version of NSMB.

I finished the game with about 90 lives, died maybe twice.

You'll get double this dire effect from NSMB 2 at the least.

So....New Super Mario Bros. 2 wasn't released as FREE DLC for New Super Mario Bros.?!

I enjoyed the first nsmb and was very disappointed with nsmb2. The whole million coins thing is pointless and don't know why nintendo marketed nsmb2 with it so much.

I'm not having very much fun with the game. It's kind of boring to be honest. It would've been pretty fun if it had single-pack multiplayer, but nope.

One of my least favorite Mario games. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
