God, so much hate in this topic lol!
I love my blue 3DS ^_^, but this handheld does not seem like a bad idea at all!
It'll have a large gaming library for starters. I've always wanted to invest in a gaming laptop, but this seems like a good alternative.
Guess I'll wait and see if it'll be worth it.

if they do it right, and its very good at streaming games from steam, then this has potential.

If nothing else, this will be a great portable emulator machine!

Can it only stream Steam or can it stream any PC game? The article is somewhat unclear about this.

If it's simply transferring a video feed of your game to the device, like what Wii U does, I can't see any reason it would be limited to Steam games.

This isn't a handheld system, its a 5 inch Android tablet with a built in controller. I'll stick to my 10 inch and Dualshock 3, although the Tegra 4 makes my Tegra 2 feel even more outdated than the Tegra 3 did.

no idea, but the picture shows it running steam. Could be just an example, or a sign they plan to partner with them.

That kind of raises a good point - a lot of the reason people like gaming on phones is that they AREN'T gaming devices, and thus they don't feel embarrassed to carry them around or play them in public. That will probably limit the potential audience for this device to some extent.

It will stream games from your computer. You can run your PC games at max settings since it's just getting the HDMI signal which means amazing battery life. I swear some people don't read before they start flaming.
