Senran Kagura, Nintndo CS reason for not localizing: "Too Perverted"

#1Bancario51Posted 1/10/2013 12:57:23 PM
Called Nintendo and the CS literally said those "It was inappropriate for American audience".. Okay so they are alright with bringing DOA dimensions but not that?

So a game that people would buy on their own free will is innapropriate, but all the perverted music, tv shows, etc, that can be accessed voluntarily or not by both adults and CHILDREN isn't.

Just when I thought you couldn't possibly become any dumber.
You go and do something like that.

Sorry but weeaboo games don't do too well in the US. I remember hearing about a recent game they brought overseas, forget the name but it sold a few hundred copies only.

There's a huge difference between Senran Kagura and Dead or Alive. Big boobs are all you see when you play Senran Kagura because they're so insanely huge that you don't focus on anything else. In Dead or Alive Dimensions, once the gameplay starts, you're too focused on fighting your opponents that you don't even realize the ladies are busty.

Basically, DOA:D = large boobs that are barely noticable, Senran Kagura = ****ING GINORMOUS boobs that are borderline pornographic.

Also, The jiggle is significantly lessened in the 3DS DOA game compared to the other games in the series on the Xbox and Xbox 360. Had they been more jiggly, I'm sure DOA: Dimensions would have almost not made it onto the 3DS at all.

"Inappropriate for American audiences" is just a way of saying "We won't make enough money to bother doing that."

And that's actually true enough. I mean, it would have to be an eShop title for them to actually make some money, and even then it wouldn't get many sales. So what's the point?

Hyperdimension Neptunia sold more in the West than in Japan.

Is the game really that bad?
I'm thinking of getting it this week.

I love ecchi games.

O_0

That amazing. I bought both games, but it just doesn't seem like a series I'd expect to catch on. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad to here this, but what the heck did Hyperdimension Neptunia do that other games like it failed to do?
