I have no problem downloading a retail 3DS game. But before I venture into that realm, my only concern is whether the digital version loads slower than the retail cart.
Does anyone have knowledge of whether Fire Emblem: Awakening, or 3DS games in general load slower when downloaded and played from the sd card?
This is really my only fear. Especially when it comes to loading a level or saving data or something like that because I plan to download Fire Emblem, and possibly Animal Crossing when that is released.

that depends on the sd card you get
I got the class ten ultra card from sandisc, so games load super fast

I have New Super Mario Bros. 2 and Professor Layton digitally on the stock 4GB card that comes with the XL.
They load instantly as far as I can tell.

I think they should be about at the same size. SD cards might be a bit faster though --- The average anime character has 47 gallons of blood.

I never noticed a difference between the 2, but y pay 40 bucks full price for digital? Makes no sense --- Warfriends: You must be lonely, unless you are a female; which in that case u are merely a figment of my imagination check quote for XBL GT

At one point, I had both the physical and digital version of NSMB2 at the same time. I can confirm that there's no difference between the two at all. Go digital all the way :) --- My digital 3DS games collection and slow progression beating them: http://backloggery.com/drac_mazoku

I've got both digital and retail MK7 and I agree there doesn't seem to be a difference. --- Use the damn search button! http://monsterhunter.wikia.com/wiki/Monster_Hunter_Wiki
