Why does Nintendo avoid making OSTs for certain games?

Topic. Zelda games always get one (and then some) but they seem selective about it otherwise. Paper Mario 2 still doesn't have one and I don't think SPM does either. I wouldnt be surprised if they completely skipped over Sticker Star as well.

Go to Gamestop, buy a Steam card, and use it to purchase Ys Origin. You won't be disappointed.

That too. Before his 20th anniversary, I don't recall getting much for Kirby games. I think we got something for Super Star Ultra.

Nintendo has said that they are a video game company and not a music company. They said they want to focus on games and not OST, but maybe sometime in they future they will do this.

That is pretty much Nintendo's stance on releasing gaming music.

I'm not sure they realize how easy they could be making a lot more money.

Yeah, it's a pain having to rely on game rips if you want the soundtracks. I happened to find one for Paper Mario 2 that is perfect and has no SFX in it. But that's really rare.
