are you trying to compare a dungeon crawler to a Srpg? because both are completely nothing alike

EOIV will be much harder to track down for a reasonable price 1 year down the line.

Atlus is harder to find than first party Nintendo.

What Begingame says is true. Most Atlus games tend to shoot up in value once they've been out for awhile, because they are usually harder to find, especially in stores. For that reason alone, I'd consider getting EO4 first and then picking up FE13 later on.

Etrian Odysessy IV does better in those categories. The series is love or hate, so the safer bet is to get Fire Emblem.

If you plan on getting both at some point in the future, get EOIV first.

If you are only buying one due to funds, get Fire Emblem.

FE is more accessible than EO; EO offers many more hours of gameplay time but requires a larger time commitment.

Fire Emblem also has DLC, Etrian Odyssey 4 doesn't.
Zelda is an ACTION-ADVENTURE, not an RPG!!!
Japan is the center of the gaming universe.

The best in things listed is Fire Emblem it has overall more content than Etrian Odissey still like others said there is reasons to pick EO IV first.

And foor the record EO battles are first person while FEA are third person(you can use a firstp person camera too but I think it's strange) so only in FEA you can actually see your weapons(each one has a unique graphic)
